He says what he wants and we shouldn't feel the need to defend him..If he mentions Cal..good..If he doesn't use the Queen's English..so be it..I find him to be an engaging, exciting NFL player who doesn't need to have a language defense team.

He grew up in SoCal, and the Lopez show is filmed in LA. Not surprising at all. (Not in a bad way either, why would they be cheering about Cal like they were about Hollywood, Crenshaw, LBP, et all?).

Also, I find it funny that if someone backs a coach like Esquer (since he is from Stanford) He/she is a closet Stanford fan. To quote BBBacker, "Get over it". I have to agree here. The level of hate at virtually everything NOT Cal is so ridiculous. And I'm no fan of Desean. But he can say Long Beach Poly, Culinary Academy or School of Hard Knocks for all I care. He went to Cal and I'm proud of his accomplishments. And he might be a really nice guy - but he represents himself like a jack*ss on the field.

I'll be rooting for Aaron to win on Sunday. He just goes about with what he does with minimal celebrations and conducts himself with humility. That's all I can ask from anybody I cheer for.

Many people who hate Rodgers can't stand his championship belt routine.

To them, it's the quarterback equivalent of showboating, acting like a jackass on the field.

Yet nobody seems to call Rodgers out on his behavior. Wonder why?

How different is what Rodgers does from what DeSean does?

(And, to be clear, I really don't care about Rodgers or DeSean's celebrations. But if you're going to call out DeSean for his TD celebrations, why no mention of Rodgers? Is a wrestling championship belt more classy?)

I don't really see Rodgers doing that while he's going into the endzone. But yeah, you make a good point. I guess it does bother me as I don't really understand the championship belt analogy with football.

Its like that DL from the Vikings that does that "ha ha look at me" on one knee after he sacks a quarterback. When he does that - I'm always hoping some offensive lineman would crush him from behind. Celebrations are cool in the endzone after scoring - but not on the field.
