So....Darius Hamilton, Yuri Wright and Leonte Carroo.....

Did any of them come to Cal last weekend or coming this Weekend. I know Carroo said he wanted to announce August 6th so time is running out. Any news on these guys?....Are we sending Otis Yelverton to NJ to give them a ride to the airport?... What is the scoop?....

don't know but maybe they should have a name like the Cali 5. Say "Jersey 3" or similar.

Was it Steve Levy who went to Don Bosco? I grew up near there, so it's nice to see the Bergen County -> Cal pipeline starting to shape up..

Not optimistic about any of the guys but of the three, we have the best shot with Hamilton. Unique kid who could find it intriguing going across the country to play ball.

Maybe they could teach Tosh how to fist pump, then we could get all the Jersey recruits we want

If scout is you go to info source your in deep doodoo. Yuri wright has also said Cal is in his top list and caroo is going to Rutgers. Book it.

I hope they all visit together and can envision playing at Cal together. Coming from that area (grew up going to basketball camps at Don Bosco in the summer), Cal impressed me more than any other place in the country. If they all saw Cal, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Caroo changed his mind and delayed his decision. I know he may be a in-state guy, and I don't blame him for wanting to play in and represent NJ, but Rutgers pales in comparison in almost every single way to Cal. The campus is ugly (I should know, given that I've been there the last 2 years), and the Big East is just less competitive. I don't mean to trash Rutgers, but it just doesn't compare to Cal. The only thing it has over us is the fact that it is close to home for them. In any case, I hope they do make it out here, b/c I believe it will change their perspective.

Is "Jersey Boys" too obvious? I bet each of them can walk like a man.

they still haven't visited yet. i just feel like a visit out here would astonish them, and would definitely make them think twice about the other places they're currently considering...hell, they dont have to commit to cal, but seriously, they should do themselves a favor and take a trip to Cal at some point--even if it's an official on our dime. maybe it'll open some eyes and increase the positive sentiments for us on the east coast in the future
