The following list shows football attendance figures from 2010 for a select group of schools. They have something in common with each other. Schools like Michigan, Florida, Texas, and Oregon are some of the schools that don't qualify to be on this list. There may be a few schools that I've failed to add but after some research, this was the best I can come up with. The first one to come up with the right answer wins a pat on the shoulder and the right to tell obnoxious bandwagon duck fans to shut the duck up.

USC - 79,907
Washington - 66,264
UCLA - 60,376
California - 57,873
Miami - 52,575
Pitt - 52,165
Minnesota - 49,513
Arizona St. - 47,943
Colorado - 46,864
Georgia Tech - 46,449
Rutgers - 46,195
Kansas 44,851
TCU - 42,466
South Florida 40,849
Air Force 40,093
Baylor - 40,043
Stanford - 40,042
Maryland - 39,168
Boston College - 38,369
Northwestern - 36,449
Cincinnati - 35,067
San Diego St. - 34,133
Navy - 32,653
Houston - 31,728
Rice - 25,571
SMU - 23,515
Colorado St. - 22,400
Temple - 20,515
Florida International - 19,808
Northern Illinois 17,760

stadiums that don't sell out?

Technically, you're right but it wasn't the answer I was looking for. All the schools on the list have D1 programs roughly 50 miles away from a major league baseball stadium. You can draw your own conclusions about college football attendance at schools near baseball stadiums. Interestingly, every one of these schools are also roughly within 50 miles of an NFL stadium. Only Cal, Stanford, San Jose St., Maryland, Navy, and Rutgers are within 2 pro baseball and 2 pro football stadiums.

Only Michigan Stadium is within 50 miles of the Detroit stadiums, if your mileage is correct.
