Very happy to have walker on board, i know he could've done better at some of the passing tournaments, but you can really see his speed and explosiveness. I think this kid is going to be making some plays. It always cool when you have kids commit to Cal and have always wanted to.

Another draw to Cal for Walker is the strong relationship he's established with his future position coach, Eric Kiesau, who returned to Cal after a 5-year stint as receivers coach and offensive coordinator at Colorado.

I love the fact that, like for Kline and others, Cal has always been his dream school. You really have to credit Tedford for making Cal the default choice for local standout preps, this had not been the case until recently.

He also sounds like an impressive young man who is going to stay grounded and make a difference in his community.
