Not being there, and it being our first road game against a new Pac12 opponent, I was wondering if anyone there can report on their "game-weekened" experience. I know it is still early and part of the game day experience is probably sleeping off the ills of the previous eve right now, but when you wake up, what is Boulder really like on game day? Are we already a hated rival, or well received like the out of conference foe we were last year? I envision a road trip to Boulder being one of the best Pac 12 sites to visit. go Bears

i'll be headed up there shortly, so i can't attest to what last night /this morning was like. i'll gladly post about the game and post-game later though.

Having attended some CU games in the past, it's a pretty lively gameday atmosphere...until they lose.

No hate at all. Very nice people out here. They see my Cal hat and say things like "i'm from Cali," "I love the Bay Area," etc.

Is the Boulder campus the main campus of CU or is it Denver? I also remember one of them being rated the top party campus a couple of years ago.

Flew from SJC to DEN on Southwest. A number of Bears on the flight. The flight was SJC-DEN-RDU so also some Stanford people on the flight going to the Duke game.

Boulder is very friendly. On Pearl Street, many of the restaurants had signs in the window saying "Welcome Cal Bears".

Agreed. The Boulder folks are really laid back and friendly. I lived there for 6 months and was shamed into working out hard as everyone is exercising or hiking there. You just don't see fat people in Boulder. Beautiful city, great micro brews, and fun people.
