OSU has a different philosophy than most teams for their non conference games. They seem to use them to develop their talent and are less concerned about winning those games. Of course Katz would give them a better chance, but the freshman has much more upside so he's playing him. The experience he's getting will be invaluable. Now they may not say that publically, but that sure seems to me what they do. Riley does it year in and year out. You watch, by the time we get to them they'll be much tougher.
