i had the same thought about 5 touches just because of jt (lol) but not 125 yards. BB is going to be tentative with his first few carries and playing in the 2nd half with the 2nd stringers.

To underscore your point about the Blue Hose defense, remember they are a team representing a school with a smaller student body than most high schools. Once Bigelow gets past the line he will be gone....

Hahaha. How do you guys come up with your numbers? I would be ok with him playing a few downs with no signs of his injury. The game being little more than a practice scrimmage, I would assume that both coaches are telling their players to treat it as such and just avoid injuries. The Presbyterian coach must be terrified that several of his key players could easily be knocked out for the season and destroy whatever hopes they have to compete in their own league. If I were him, I would have my starters play for only the first quarter or until they fall behind by two TDs, whichever came first. Same for JT except for mass substitutions after the first quarter or a 2 TD lead.

...the consensus seems to be that a true freshman in his first game is going to get 100+ yards on a handful of carries when no RB has run for 100 yards this season...

...count me as skeptical. Marshawn, Best both took a little while to get up to speed. Hey, maybe he'll have a Russell White first game with huge gains and kickoff returns for TDs. Doubt it.

At the risk of being a negabear, I see him having some work to do to catch up with these expectations. If he gets 50 yards rushing, and one catch, I'll consider it a very good day for him. If he gets to field a kick return on top of that, gravy. I'm happy to see him playing, but I'm not seeing "Heisman" here.

If he has a 100+ yard offensive day Saturday, pass me a little of the Kool Aid.

Yeah, I think Isi will get a lot of early carries....hopefully he should reach 100 yards rushing quickly so that Anderson and Bigelow can get some significant carries.....I think the Blue Hose will hold their own in the first quarter however......this what God told me anyway!
