I think someone is laughing..:p..about this..The Bears will have no problem getting up for this game ..It is, after all, our home opener and the platform for the rest of the season as we enter the Pac 12 schedule..I see a real determined and disciplined game and hopefully some of the early season boo-boos will be resolved..I am hopeful we see sustained drives, cleaned up pass defense, and some inspired back-ups getting in.

Okay, those are very fine thoughts friend 72CalBear....but even if what you hopefully want "to see" happens, so what? I don't think such happening will supply any comfort to me because I'd be wondering if what you wanted to see actually happening was due to the limitations of a weaker opponent or any real change that will prepare Cal for conference play against another hungry program like UDub......
