AT&T is a baseball stadium. The way the seats are built they do not go up quickly enough. In row 35 today and still had much of the sight line blocked by players. The infield dirt also gave it a less than acceptable feel.
The stadium was half full today. Half full (can't blame AT&T for that). In many ways it felt like a high school game. Because of the configuration the field seems small with a small crowd. Did no one buy club level seats? That whole level seems nearly empty. The temporary bleachers also give it a hs feel.
It was a beautiful day in SF, but I miss the campus.
As noted, the vendors were everywhere and had no qualms about blocking one's view.
There were so few people that a lot of people were moving to better seats. This often seems appropriate, but today, the people moving were also the ones that were going in and out during plays.
It is only for a year, but definitely a totally different ambiance and experience.
