especially in the first quarter we could hardly see any of the game as the Cotton Candy vendor stood right in our way and when he left the lemonaide guy came and then the coke guy etc. I guess I am not use to any Vending at Cal games but these guys really need to watch the game and not pimp when the play is in action.we complained to an usher and he said many people were complaining and they would deal with it at their meeting.

Maybe some cotton candy would have brightened your disposition.

Seems to me when I have been to pro football games through the (many) years, I remember vendors actually squatting and ducking when the play is going on in deference to the fans...

When you select seats at AT&T, best to go to the middle of the row. Vendors, and the fans who go up and down are distracting. And vendor's do not squat at AT&T. Hope you found something positive about AT&T?

AT&T is a baseball stadium. The way the seats are built they do not go up quickly enough. In row 35 today and still had much of the sight line blocked by players. The infield dirt also gave it a less than acceptable feel.
The stadium was half full today. Half full (can't blame AT&T for that). In many ways it felt like a high school game. Because of the configuration the field seems small with a small crowd. Did no one buy club level seats? That whole level seems nearly empty. The temporary bleachers also give it a hs feel.
It was a beautiful day in SF, but I miss the campus.
As noted, the vendors were everywhere and had no qualms about blocking one's view.
There were so few people that a lot of people were moving to better seats. This often seems appropriate, but today, the people moving were also the ones that were going in and out during plays.

It is only for a year, but definitely a totally different ambiance and experience.

I don't mind the vendors - everyone has to work - but I am sitting on an aisle and their voices are LOUD and some are piercing! I can see how they sell alot by getting your attention. After the first quarter I would cover my "aisle side ear" when they came by.

I enjoyed myself though. Got out and on the freeway quickly, not a long walk to the car, beautiful weather.

The beverage vendors did not block my view at all.

However, I share the complaint about the cotton candy vendor in particular because the guy is holding about 50 cotton candy bags on a 6-foot pole, high enough in the air to block the view of at least 10-15 people at a time. Something to get used to I guess.

I have a suggestion as to where that pole should be put.
