Begelow needs 10-15 carries a game when completely healthy.
CJ Anderson or Deboski also needs 10-15 carries a game.

Why didn't he play any after his TD? Saw what we needed and saving him for UW?

Probably didn't want to push him too much in his first game in almost two years.

But yeah, he needs more touches going forward.

All the plays were set-up as straight ahead sprints, so he didn't have really cut much and could just run downhill, which makes sense for his first action. After the kick-off return for a TD, I saw JT walkover and hug him...probably to say welcome back from the injuries, congrats on getting your first college TD, now go take it easy...he left on a good note feeling good about his first action...no need to push it.

Kick returns out of the gate impressive jt move plus the passes out of backfield, brilliant stuff. This has got it, I dont care it was vassar we played hos acceleration and change of direction is different than our stable. He will score next week if he is not too sore after today. Really cant wait to hear tuesdays post practice report.

Friend Davidson that's what I thought... the coaches saw that he can run big time so why risk injury...do a little more against UDub...he'll be okay but UDub will definetly rough him up to really welcome him into conference play.....

I'm so angry.

I knew Biggie would work some magic today and was looking forward to it. I was busy standing in line for ice cream and had no idea half time was over when I heard the park erupt in cheers and applause and knew something "big" had happened.

GAHH!!!!

Will they 'definetly' rough him up? They've given up 27, 32, and 51 points. Not exactly the most fearsome defense in the pac 12.

"Shhhhh everybody, Tedford is sending another play!"

Well, let's say UDub won't be any Blue Hose.....UDub is tough just not not long on 4 quarter endurance......why you think he'll run all over the Huskies.....I hope so....but Tedford will bring him along slowly...and UDub's DC will see what we all saw today with respect to the type of plays that were called for Bigs

Didn't he also decommit from Washington to play for us - they've been jilted so may want a bit of "payback"?

Bigelow was as good as advertised. Of course, one has to consider the quality of the opponent, but damn he's fast.

Also, number 55 of defense looked like another great frosh. McClure also impressed.

Vei gets a double team every time. He will allow the DEs to get more pressure on the QB. How did you like big double nickel covering the receiver on the 2 point conversion attempt. Almost went step for step with the receiver.

Loved his reaction coming off the field. He was so damn pumped up. A line to the bench cleared for him as he fist pumped and jumped his way over there. The dude is so big you can tell people (like 6'6" TEs) get the hell out of the way when he is moving fast. I'm sure his adventure as a DB will be a featured topic after the game.

My fav highlight of Moala was him dropping out of his NT position to cover a pass receiver in the back of the end zone !!! I think he was more pumped about this than any of his other scrimmage plays.

I remember seeing someone in a #5 jersey in crutches when the team walked towards the locker room. Am I hallucinating or did someone else see that also? Was that Bigelow?

Great debut for him. I nominate "Blast Off" as a possible nickname.

Never mind, that was Michael Coley in the crutches

I was worried by the way he pulled up just before the end zone. He didn't reach for the hamstring, but something seemed odd

I recall another frosh who scored on a kickoff return the very first time he touched the ball... against Miami. Name? Russell White.

During the game, on the sideline, Moala said, "the guy in front of me was like 'dude you're way bigger than me'" and then he just laughed in amusement. Can't wait for him to show his stuff against a Pac-12 team.

The running-by-committee idea is a good one, and it should include Bigelow and Anderson at least. Sofele couldn't get outside on PRESBYTERIAN yesterday. That's not good at all. Still, he's shifty and has good moves so used in conjunction with others he might still be very effective.
