"EUGENE The University of Oregon confirmed Saturday that the NCAA informed the school this week that they are reviewing its use of football scouting services. A telephone call containing the notice of inquiry was placed to university president Richard Lariviere."

The NCAA called Oregon to inform them of the investigation, but the official letter was sent to Uncle Knight.
