Without specific knowledge, I would say it is safe to say YES!!!!

Why would they continue to play football on a baseball field when there is no more baseball until next spring????

Yes, they sod it for the Emerald Bowl (or whatever it's called now), so of course they'd do it for us.

Well, if Joe Starky said they'd sod the field, then it must be true!

That sarcasim being said, the obvious is the truth. As soon as the Giant's season is over, they'll remove the infield clay, and all of the field will be sod. But until their season is over, the infield clay will remain.

Yes, and not only that, they're going to shave down the mound too.

Are they going to color in the logo at midfield and the end zones? Looks so plain and not very elite D1-like at all the way it was set up yesterday.

I guess it's been a while since people around here have had to look at what happens with dual-use baseball/football stadiums, since the Niners now have Candlestick to themselves and Raiders games are never on TV.

Back when the Giants were still playing at the 'Stick, it was the same way: before baseball season was over, the end zones weren't colored in for Niners games, because there wasn't much point. After baseball was over, they sodded the whole field and colored in everything for football.

Yes. Tedford said in interview last week as soon as the Giants are done it goes to all grass.
