1. Quoting a 10 paragraph post, adding only "this^" or "+1,000."

2. Starting a retort with, "Umm..."

3. Calling "Booth" on a topic that was sort of discussed 6 months ago...on the premium board...at the bottom of an 8 page thread...just because you want credit for the topic.

4. Putting the "punchline" of your post after 50 line breaks. (This was an epidemic on the old board.)

5. Responding to a post with only an emoticon. Worse if the emoticon is nonspecific. Dancing blue carrot? Ok, you liked the post. Noted. Blue smiley carrying a tree? I don't know what that means.

6. Jumping into a thread just to say that you don't care about the topic of the thread. Why would you think anyone cares that you don't care?

7. Being a stickler about others' proper use of "OT" in a title.

8. Vague thread titles that give me no clue if I should click.

9. Passive-aggressive threads about annoying things people do on BI. Seriously though, I don't pay attention to who says what here, so this is not aimed at any particular poster(s).

I'm sure some of these are not unique to BI, but I wouldn't know.

People reading the SC boards and then running back here to post any little thing they type over there. Who gives a s*** about SC?

What drives me really nuts is when there are 1-2 threads going on regarding a subject and someone feels the need to start their own thread with their OWN take instead of just posting in the thread that is ongoing. It's like a spoiled only child who absolutely must be heard and can't bear the thought of their super important opinion possibly being lost amidst the discussion. And I don't mean when someone inadvertently does this, but when they say, "My take on this is..." and even refer to the other threads.

This has been an epidemic with the expansion discussions. There are 50 threads with people posting their opinions, and yet multiple people start their own thread with subject lines like, "MY opinion on this whole expansion thing..."

1) Inserting a picture in the thread that is so large it screws up the way the page appears on the screen, so you have to scroll the screen back and forth like an old manual typewriter (remember those?) just to read the posts.

2) Maybe it's just me, but I am annoyed by every single thread about DJ's introduction on Sunday Night Football and whether he said "Cal" or "Long Beach Poly."

How about inserting over-sized images, so you have to scroll to Pullman and back just to read a single line.

Maybe not so much on this board, but other boards/posters have issues with the size of their sig.

People's fascination with high post counts. Seems people think a high post count equates to a superior point of view or knowledge of a subject.

OT: I hate the navigation and clutter at the top of this board. There has to be a better way to present that information. I hate having to scroll down before I even get to the post I'm interested in.

the most annoying aspect of this board is the sometimes never-ending personal attacks and debating that goes on among the regular users..you know the ones..Or the posters who have to "win" every argument..when in fact most of what we do in here is opinion...The least annoying part of this board is that it connects Cal fans from every angle and there are truly some great Bear football minds who keep me True Blue..
