On a non-football note, a couple of days ago I was in London and attended a black-tie dinner for about 100 people at Windsor castle...I even met Prince Edward...It was an amazing and surreal experience to be able to wander around the place...it wasn't an amazing historical event per se, but I can now add it to my bucket list and cross it off at the same time...I'd still take any Cal football event (especially the big one) any day of the week...
Last year I missed the Colorado game because I stayed in London to attend the Last Night of the Proms at Royal Albert Hall. It was one of the coolest evenings of my life.
