I appreciated the response.

Thanks for taking the time to share some feedback with us on the first game, we appreciate it. I checked in with our marketing team, and it sounds like the ads on the video board were due to contractual commitments we need to uphold with our sponsors.

Whereas the Giants have their normal sponsors that can be fit into their normal ballpark advertisements at AT&T (thus keeping their video board picture to just video), since we are using a different facility, and have sponsors that are different than the Giants, putting ads on the video board was a compromise that was worked out, given the highly limited alternative inventory at the facility for our committed corporate partners. Thanks for bearing with us on this part of the game experience for this season.

Go Bears!

It was obviously done for advertising. What isn't these days??

However, I sure feel sorry for anyone with a seat at AT/T in the lower 20 rows of the lower deck as that video board is about the only way to watch the game. At least that's how I viewed the Emerald Bowl from my "premium" lower level seats that year.

Do you know if they will be showing replays of controversial plays this year at ATT? I noticed on TV that Washington replays "questionably" called plays multiple times.

I sent my feedback to Justin as well, and received similar feedback. Totally understand contractual commitments. If the contract states that the (very dreary) simple ads must be on the right or left side of the AT&T high definition video screen then so be it. But no kidding, I would like to see this in writing.

Denying season ticket holders (we are customers), the full high definition screen experience in this venue for replays, media advertisements, fun crowd video, is simply short sighted.

Look at other options--there are many creative ways to advertise at AT&T.

The full screen would help the "customers" who are sitting in less than optimum seating. Perhaps they don't want us to get used to "state of the art".

I haven't gotten a reply and emailed weeks ago- my point was that I understand they have contractual obligations, but with a tiny bit more work, they could place physical ads connected to the sides of the screen and give fans the full screen. But no. That makes too much sense.

As X pointed out in another thread, the sales and marketing people are incompetent. I agree.
