I hate to have to do this, as I am sure it will inspire threads on the best place to watch the game in North Korea, a space shuttle, a Chilean mine, etc.

But I was sent to Mexico City for a conference, and my hotel does not have wifi. Does anyone know of a decent place to watch the game?

I haven't been to Mexico in over 10 years (mtn climb), but Mexico City is quite large. Not knowing where you might be, but try the Hard Rock Cafe.

Never been to Mexico City but there's got to be a British pub or Irish bar with an ESPN feed.

Mexico City is relatively devoid of US-style sports bars. Though they are big into sports and ESPN-deportes can be found in most dives. If the game is on the US feed only (likely), then the best bets are:
Dave & Busters
Hotel bars in Polanco and on Reforma

You may be out of luck, which would also give you the chance to check out some Lucha Libre and go bar-hopping in La Condesa.

Ps.... Most major hotels will have internet if they don't have WiFi.
