Most of the Bear fans have given up on CAL if you look at the FANS point spreads. What kind of faith do you Bear fans have in CAL? How about putting some faith in our Bears or are most of the people on Bear Play duck fans?

When I saw the thread title, I thought the post was about how the "game result" for the Washington game still says "not played."

Cal by 3 on a last second field goal. Call it, Gorgio's Revenge!

That would be nice, if it happens. But consider the meaningful FGs Tavecchio missed (Arizone, Oregon 2010), do you honestly believe he could make kicks with any game on the line? Maybe hand football... maybe.

Faith could move mountains, but it woulnd't win football games. Any reality-based view of the game has Cal as big underdogs. It doesn't mean we can't win, but there're good reasons why the Yucks are favored by 24. Being realistic doesn't make a person a bad fan, and pumping sunshine doesn't make one a good fan.

I'm going to beat a dead horse - I still put the Oregon 2010 on the ST coaches. With enough time left in the 3rd quarter to kick the FG, the ST strolled onto the field, set up for the kick, Giorgio got set and the end-of-the-quarter whistle blew. There was no urgency, no apparent sense of time whatsoever. We essentially iced our own kicker, then sent him to the South side of the field - the visitors' side! - where the noise was a significant factor. He made a false start because he couldn't hear the count.
Awful, awful, awful time management. Inexcusable.
