I don't sense much enthusiasm on the board for the game. Everyone is hunkering down, it seems, expecting another blowout. I think we need a cheer. Time to channel a little Ben Dixon (his **ck the Ducks cheer when I was a student remains one of my favorite game memories, even on a loss.

Thanks, LB. He's mad because I lost it in one of the other threads over his excessive pessimism about this game. If we get blown out, so be it, but at least let me look forward to the game before it starts. It just feels to me like most of the board doesn't even want to expend the energy to root for the team tonight, because their expectations are so low, and they don't want to deal with being disappointed. We've reached the point where the negs can't separate their feelings for JT from their feelings for the team.

I wholeheartedly disagree with you dear friend LafayetteBear. We've reached a point where Jeffery babes (shown in his cool PJ's) can't separate his horrible feeling for me from his head-in-the-sand feelings for the team.

Maybe if he got his head out of the sand, he might understand my tender feelings and those of "most of the board" as he has observed.......
