I like how the blog entry on the OP's link refers to it as a retro jersey, yet it still has the same "space age" font they've used recently.

Oregon has busted out so many weird uniforms that the earlier ones now count as "throwbacks". Heh.

I don't think the jersey looks that bad.. if you're a 6 year old child. It's cute. Not sure if that's what they were going for.
