4th down and 8 down 28 points and Nick Aliotti brings 7 and crushes Maynard. God I hate oregon, I like LaMichael individually, but I have no pity for this injury.

Positives today:

Isi running well
Anderson running well
Jones and Allen continue to be studs
O-line is solid in both pass protection and run blocking
D-line had good penetration for one half

Negatives:
Maynard showed no improvement, and arguably regressed (that's saying something)
Thin secondary that visibly wore down in the second half
Once the passing game opened up for Oregon, the defense seems to have lost its fight

I have defended Tedford as recently as two weeks ago, but I think I'm finally OK with firing him. Aside from his complete inability to develop a QB, WHY do we still have our starters in a meaningless part of a complete blowout.

If Guyton is really hurt I'm beyond pissed.

Tedford's unwillingness to develop guys in game-time situations is maddening.

I am sick of having the "moral" team.

First, it gets us less than nothing (see "faking injuries" talk)
Second, you dont win games by going easy on the other team.

I completely agree. I don't WISH harm on any player, but I am growing to despise Chip Kelly. Why was James even in this game when Oregon is running roughshod over us? Kelly's reticence to sit starters when his team is hugely ahead mirrors the stupidity of Tedford's unwillingness to sit starters when his team is hugely behind.

the d started to have problems when anthony went out and ducks went after mcclure.

also miss anthony on run support.

this was a big loss for a thin group of dbs.

The number of holding calls on our defenders and receivers in this game is just ridiculous. Every big run by James involved holding on a defender that help broke contain, only the barner td was a legit run.
