He does both....makes a great play but also ends drives with inaccuracy..

But the ratio is not good enough. We are generally outplaying Oregon. Our d line seems to be dominating theirs, and we can run the ball. Even average quarterbacking would get us enough o to win, but a sub .500 completion rate and 1/9 on third down is not likely to be good enough.
He has very nervous feet in the pocket, so maybe his nerves are out of control.
He's had happy feet all year, but it's worse tonight.
I guess we can hope he will settle down at the half and come out more relaxed in the second half.
It is just as likely he will come out and throw a back-breaking pick.
I've got my fingers crossed that he can just be average from here on out, and let others be the playmakers.

He's the best we got doing the best he can. He's a better QB than you are a fan.

At the half Maynard has a better completion % than the UO QB, and no interceptions.

agree... I like Maynard, but he just isn't consistent.

Beidgford didn't look any better in backup play. It's so strange we have a QB guru head coach, but our QB cupboard is bare.

Didn't look any worse either.

Maynard is a career sub-.500 completion rate QB who throws as many picks as TD's.

Looks every bit as bad as bad Riley and bad Mansion.

Too sad that our D kept us in the game in the first half bit our QB is a total liability. He already has a highlight reel full of unforced errors tonite.

It's Tedford's DNA. The man can't help himself. Another thing you'll never see from Tedford is a fake punt.

Maynard's "making plays" due to the incredible athletic ability of Allen and Jones. They've gone up way high to catch the pass. Guess what happens when less athletes like Calvin have to go up for a catch? He can't catch it.

Have you ever seen a QB who has to take so much time to wind up to throw hard? His arm reminds me of Vedder's.

about how inaccurate Maynard was, especially throwing to his right.

We can't afford to have QB consistently committing unforced errors if we want to be competitive in this league.

Safe to say that the announcers thought Maynard was a joke as a QB.
