Unfortunately cannot make all the home games...

Anybody know of any restaurants or bars in the Sacramento or Roseville area that regularly show football games?

Don't know much about Roseville, but there is always Pyramid Alehouse downtown. I'm not a fan of their beers (although don't they now have MacTarnahan's?), but they are very Cal-friendly.

Sacramento definitely has a variety of locations, but it all depends on what type of atmosphere you're looking for. As far as Roseville, Rocklin, etc. BJ's brewery on Roseville Prkwy would be my first option, plenty of TV's, people, good food among other things. There is also a Mountain Mikes in Rocklin, the owner is pretty cool, has a big screen TV, good pizza, (6.99 all you can eat salad & pizza). Raiders games are a pretty big thing there, but I"m sure he'd be down to throw on the Cal game if you and some friends wanted to hit it up. Unfortunately no real places where you're going to run into a mob of Cal fans.
If you have a family or lady, I'd hit up Dave and Busters, or Johns incredible pizza, Johns has a room entirely dedicated to all the football games (5 big TV"s in their sports themed room)

also in old sac theirs a sports bar that i go to reg it's across from the rocky mountain chocolate factory. mvp's sports bar and grill behind the state capitol.

....not the other one on Fair Oaks Blvd., but the one on Sunrise next to Fair Oaks village has every game going you can imagine and for a sports bar the food is OK. There used to be a place right at Sunrise and Douglas (Mandango's I believe) in Roseville that was a sports bar, but Players is better because if you have a request, etc. they will pop a game up.

I went to Mandango's one time with my son to watch Stanford and they put it on in the corner while the rest of the bar watched some UFC brawl....pretty funny, as a little different crowd and we were the only ones watching the Furd.

Members from the Sac Grid Club usually meet up somewhere to watch--those that don't go to the games or for away games--but I forget where..I'll try to get the info and post it in case you want to join some other Cal fanatics..

your welcome fellow bear. i hear you often times when i go to river city sports bar in old sac i'm thee only cal fan. I'm always outnumbered by $c fans. thankfully one of the bartenders is a hot blonde michigan fan and has a great personality.
