That was a big win yesterday and now we're
bowl eligible. But there is still a lot to prove.

[LIST=1]

Can we do it on the road?

Can the OL continue to open holes?

Can the defense stop a team with a balanced offense (running attack)?

Can Sofele continue his recent streak of great performances?

Can we win against superior competition?

Can we go into Tempe and beat ASU with a possible division title at stake for the Devils?

Can we play dominant football without also getting penalized?

8-4 (5-4) is light years better than 6-6 (3-6). And we will have to play well to get there, just as it should be. Winning these last two games would be absolutley HUGE. I wouldn't bet on it but I'm hoping for it.

Yuh, let's hope that we are dealing with a "late blooming, about-to-peak" situation with this team.

Two games left (regular season) ..... obviously, I want them both but I think a split would be fantastic. I agree with 82gradDLSdad .... 8-4 is HUGE compared to 6-6

GO BEARS!!!!!!!

Even 7-5 would be good (especially if we go on to win the bowl game).

But if we knock off furd next week, I don't think anyone will say, "Well, we got one of the two toughies.....it's ok if we lose the other to ASU."

been a late bloomer while he has been here??

usually it is start out strong and then fade..

I think if we play very well the next two weeks (win or lose) that would say a lot about how we might fare next year .. two good games on the road would be a nice change..

manus;623358 said:

Yuh, let's hope that we are dealing with a "late blooming, about-to-peak" situation with this team.

If we see something like that this year, it would be very encouraging.
