For 15 years or so I have dutifully entered Cal football and basketball calendars into my computer each year. It's a pain and takes a long time. Then I found some shared public calendars and used those the past two years, but they aren't maintained well. So I sent an email to the athletic department saying it would be smart of them to provide shared public calendars so that all fans have them on their computers and mobile devices. You know, a great service and a way to help ticket sales. Seems obvious to me. Well over the past 4 months I have sent about six emails to different people (web master, pr, public relations, etc). Not one of them has gotten back to me. That is beyond lame--and precisely indicative of why they don't have the calendar available to begin with. I even offered them to create the calendar and manage myself for free if they just offered it to Cal fans. Nothing. It's insulting and incompetent.<br /><br />Well there is a pretty good app that lets you follow teams and have their schedules appear on your computer and mobile device along with TV broadcast station and reminders. Shame that Cal doesn't have foresight to provide stuff like this to its fan-base. Google calendar has long had the Cal basketball and football calendars on there. I'm not sure who enters them (probably Google since they are available for all teams), but they are easy to add to your own calendar.

I have emailed the athletic department a handful of times to address what I believe is a discrepancy in the priority points we were awarded for # of consecutive years of football season tickets. The department didnt accurately account for years we purchased. I emailed ticket stub proof mutlitple times and never a resolution. I realize the difference in points is not going to amount to much but it really now is about the principle of receiving quality customer service.

FYI 2th...those downloads require you to download multiple times if game times change and the files updated. This is common in football and hoops where game times are decided late or change. Adding the Cal calendar from within Google calendar (under Other Calendars/Browse Interesting Calendar) keeps it up to date when the times change.
