On one of my 50,000 plane trips this year I ran out of reading material and had to go through Sky Mall magazine cover to cover. Got something from there (as an aside, if 2,000 years from now someone writes a book on the fall of the American Empire, I would sugggest they devote an entire chapter to Sky Mall; that is one crazy collection of stuff).<br /><br />Anyway, one of the items they advertise is a framed picture where they will take pictures from variious places on the college of your choice and spell out the name of the university. Unfortunately they do "Berkeley" instead of "Cal"" for us, but it does give you more pictures that way. They used the Campanile for the "I" and the bear statue on lower Sproul (sideways) for the "B." She's getting that (and a trip to Dubai).

My hubby is getting a Bob Dylan box set he's been drooling over and the honor of escorting me to the Holiday Bowl.<br /> <br />BTW, my husband's alumni mag issue this month was all about gifts made by the school's alums. Everything from wooden spoons to underwear. Why don't we do something like that? Gift ideas and supporting a fellow Golden Bear would be really cool. Someone who knows someone at California Magazine should throw this out there!
