If this is about the Oregon injury situation then Lupoi is a petulant, petty child.

That show of class freakin' backfired.

Cal should have NEVER apologized after that game with Oregon and, instead, should have went into a "plausible deniability" mode and not speak on the matter.

My personal belief has always been that Lupoi was punished for talking to the reporter under the pretenses of being punished for the faking. It was the only thing that made sense to me, but it is my own conjecture.

Thanks for clearing that up.

So many emotional haters. Cal was Tosh's dream job. but Tedford didn't give him much credit for the remarkable job he was doing, and I hear was a bit jealous of the ovations Tosh was getting at speaking evens when Tedford himself was getting half-hearted applauses. Told Tosh after Tenn tried to get him last year that Tosh's position is replaceable, so don't ask for too much. Tosh made a business decision, and as much as I am hurting today, I would welcome Tosh back any time. I just keep counting the days until 2015 . . .

At least we know we have an offensive guru who can recruit and develop QBs like the best of them.

Are you like in-the-know crowd with Tosh Lupoi?

From what you know, it sure sounds like Tedford didn't treat Tosh the way he deserved to be treated. Leaving for another job that will triple his current salary sounds like a great idea. Although still unprofessional, it's not uncommon to just pack and leave without telling a boss who's been not that great.

But what did the current players do to Lupoi? You know the guys he recruited while routinely throwing out qualities in men like accountability, integrity, commitment, etc he supposedly preaches. He could have at least told his kids that he was leaving.

CalCalCal;679177 said:

So many emotional haters. I think it was pretty uninspiring (mild choice of word) that Tedford did not step up and take the blame for that. Most good leaders would have.

So unless you have heard him say otherwise, I would disagree with your criticism of JT (at least on this point).
