Between now and letter signing day is a precarious period. There is a herding effect among recruits, which can work for us (as it had up until Monday) or it can work against us. A bit of positive news, like a prominent recruit reaffirming his commitment to Cal, can get us back on track very quickly. Since recruits and their families read these boards, lets do our best to move things in a positive direction with some positive words and energy. Cal is the world's top public university, our campus is in a spectacular setting, and we are about to open the most beautiful, awesome stadium in the Pac12 conference if not in the nation. I cannot wait for opening day, September 1, 2012!
