brains, balls, and inspiration as well as resolve and I'm not so sure Tedford is amply supplied with these necessary ingredients - i think as a person JT is terrific, but, as a coach he has slipped a lot; he can't win the "big" / "must win" games, gets out-coached a lot, can't seem to "coach up" his players, and has the demeanor of Calijoe (cigar store wooden indian of western song repute) - to go back to Dave's example, as much as I respect JT as a person, I don't think Teddy could carry Chester Nimitz's or Raymond Spruance's binoculars nor does he seem to have resolve or dedication to match that of the of the Midway torpedo plane / dive bomber pilots
