I guess stranger things could happen but the problem with the Lane strategy is precisely this - that after you start cutting players and yanking them around their frieds, younger brothers, associates logically conclude, "there but for the grace of god go I"

Remember, USC was AA's first commitment. He backed out in large part due to Armond feeling betrayed by USC. If Armond is willing to put that aside, doesn't that mean AA will be too?

Plus...these are brothers that wanted to play together. Not sure they'd want to play against each other...

~MrGPAC

They have a right to know who their next position coach is going to be.

Until we bring someone in, this really shouldn't surprise anyone.

He's not playing another down at SC.

This is the best news for Cal besides him actually committing I think. What I'm seeing is he wants to see what we do and he will re-reevaluate his decision then. He's not just moving on to the next school because it was next.

Just when I think we're out, he keeps pulling us back in!

From injuries to team discipline to recruiting, Chip keeps team info as close to the vest as possible. It seems most of our commits come with very little foreshadowing/pub.

...or does this mean Armond is going to sit out a year so he can transfer wherever he wants (i.e. into the pac12). This would also allow him to apply to graduate programs.

Is it too late for Armond to declare for the NFL?

~MrGPAC

Which makes Tedford's next hire all the more important.
