Was Judas really a traitor? I mean God and Jesus predicated his betrayal. They knew and expected that it was coming. It was a part of the divine plan.

The betrayal in Berkeley on the other hand is IMO far worse than the betrayal of Judas. I don't think this was a part of Tedford's divine plan.

He reminds me more of the weenie Annakin in Episode III. I was disappointed by the movie b/c as a kid I grew up scared of Darth Vader as pure evil. But after watching episode III I felt like he was just an annoying, immature teenager who was toyed with by Darth Sidious. (but I did love the end scene when the newly healed/minted Darth Vader asks about Padme and Sidious laughs and says that Vader killed her-- awesome! "NOOOOO!"<img src="<img src="<img src="" />" />">

But Tosh has that feel. Secretively running off in the still of darkness because he is not man enough to face his decisions and their consequences. Psychologist talk about these decisions -- call them impulsive. They tend to be destructive and based on immature coping mechanisms.
