I think that came out before Tosh made his move.<br /><br />So, if you ask him again, he would say that he was misquoted or the reported misremembered what he said.

If Tosh's such an adolescent, then his father should have stepped in and set him straight on what actions would be ethically unacceptable. I certainly would have had that conversation with my own son. This reflects on the reputation of his entire family, who will still be living in the Bay Area, and Tosh really didn't seem to care.

Can't blame the guy for taking a fortune now over a job for awhile. <br />Big time fault for the nature of his parting.<br />His subsequent behavior is totally unacceptable in a quality human being.<br />I would expect a 16 year old to have a better since of values.<br />Actually, he is a disgrace to Cal education, not to realize that telling recruits one day that Cal is the best place in the universe to be, the next that it is a smelly arm-pit to be avoided at all costs.<br />Talk about burning his bridges!<br />He now has now future in recruiting, and he wasn't that good as a d-line coach.

Sure, he's not an old man, but he's old enough to vote, drink, own a house, have a steady job, make loads of cash. I don't begrudge Tosh at all for being ambitious, going for more money, going to a place where he may have more upward mobility, but the more I read, the more I dislike the way he is handling and has handled his affairs. <br /><br />Ethical behavior doesn't come and go overnight... maybe he wasn't the person we all thought he was (or what we wanted him to be). Remember Kobe Bryant and Tiger Woods, those guys had pretty sparkly reputations before we found out what kind of scum bags they really are.<br /><br />I wish what you wrote were true and Tosh has been corrupted by Sark and Husky Nation, but what is more likely is that this is who Tosh is (and has been), and I just hope nothing he has done here at Cal in the past comes back to bite us in the a$$.

Maybe To$h got his ego fed to the hilt by that dog turd Sark and with all the $ that was toshed at him, he's now delusional?<br /><br />He believes that all our recruits wanted to go to Cal ONLY because of him. <br />He was bigger than our program and all HIS recruits would follow. <br />He is so beloved by Cal fans that we would surely understand his position and take his side.<br />He was, of course, completely responsible for Cal's two #1 D-line draft picks. <br /><br />Jeez...
