As a position coach, he may need 1-3 years of seasoning.<hr></blockquote><br /><br /><br />As much as we all love Follett, you can't be serious saying we can't find anyone better as a recruiter.<br /><br />Sure, he knows the school and has great passion, but that doesn't change the fact that he has no formal recruiting experience, other than being a student-athlete host for official visits during his time here.<br /><br />It seems like so many people here are just putting former Cal guys at the top of the wish list to replace departed coaches, in some ways because they want to believe that since Lupoi was so successful as a recruiter, other former Cal players will be also successful as well.<br /><br />If Follett REALLY wants to get into the world of coaching, I'm sure Tedford will give him a shot as a GA.<br /><br />But bottom line is that we don't know how good of a recruiter he is/can be.
