I'm hoping 10 or 20 years from now I can look back on this recruiting class and have fond memories of when it all turned around for Cal Football. I hope that the #calgang sticks together and comes to Berkeley, and we look back on this time with fond memories and give thanks to this bunch of recruits who came in and ushered in a new Memorial Stadium.<br /><br />These guys can go their separate ways or to other destinations, but how sweet would it be if this was the class that got us to the Rose Bowl. These guys could always look back and say they were part of something special. <br /><br />The Lakers got Shaq and Kobe to usher in the Staples Center era. Michigan had the Fab Five... a class whose name evokes memories of something special (too bad they were paid). A new Memorial Stadium needs a defining incoming class to put its stamp on the new digs. <br /><br />Will we even remember "#calgang" a few years from now, or will it just be one of those frustrating should've, could've, would've moments?<br /><br />I know I'm putting the cart before the horse here, but all this anticipation of LOI day is driving me insane, and I figure I might as well pump some sunshine and hope for the best.<br /><br />:gobears:

I think regardless of who ends up faxing in their LOI, those that do will be remembered with a higher degree of fondness and admiration for sticking with us through a very tumultuous end of recruiting cycle period.
