I agree AA was classy. It as nice that instead of "commiting" he took a step back and weighed his options and didnt say he would go somewhere then change his mind a million times.

Of course he discussed it with Kelly. You think Chip told him what he was thinking? He told him what he wanted to hear in order to get him, knowing all the while that he would switch him to OT. Mark my words.

It's not like the guy sucks at DE. He's an elite offensive lineman and a very good DE. Kelly isn't going to screw with future big time recruits by lying to Armstead.

USC wanted De'anthony Thomas at corner. Oregon told him that they'd play him on offense.

Kelly will be inside that kid's head in two weeks. He'll be doubting himself so much he'll probably end up thinking it's his idea.

Give me a break. Armstead is going to play whereever he wants to play.

They can go out for whatever position they choose, but then the coaches will play their best options.

Oregon did lose one of their starting DE's (Terrell Turner) and their main backup (Hanna) and the Offensive Line is actually in pretty good shape. I'm not seeing a reason to try to steer him away from his position of choice.

There's a recurring theme of kids mentioning Nike in part of their reasoning to go to whOregon... which is really sad if you think about it

The possibility of sanctions and the possibility of Kelly leaving soon did not allow the Bears to win this battle. That's not good for the Bear program!!!!

He's clearly very intelligent and feels out of place as a Duck in this respect. Before anybody objects to that characterization, please consider the fact that up until a year ago, a HS GPA of something like 3.2 qualified Oregon HS students for automatic admission to UO. Canard was clearly in his own league there and wishes for acceptance from people he'd like to consider his peers. I say we all offer Canard a big Internet hug.

Good luck. He didn't want to be here, no point in being sour grapes. Let it go. The schollie should go to players who want to be here. Since he doesn't want to be here, all for the best.

Anyone noticing that the Pac 12 schools NOT named "Washington" are the only ones benefitting from Sark hiring away To$h?
