I know we're all sensitive right now but if the kid wants to be somewhere else it is in nobody's interest for him to come to Cal simply because he gave us a verbal a while back.<br /><br />CF_2, I love you man, but chill down. We've got some great kids coming in at WR, let's focus on those guys coming in and not the one that wants to be somewhere else, right?

recruiting's been a roller coaster ride this year, but even with all the defections, between last year's and this year's class, we have a LOT of highly rated skill players coming in. <br /><br />JT's won in the past without any 5 star talent...and in college football, it's all about the QB.(Kline will lead us to the promise land)

Interesting take from the Washington board about Lawler:<br /><br />"Bears have 5 WR commits and several other big time offers out. Simple attrition."<br /><br />LOL. Both "doom and gloom" fanbases are spinning this as a negative.

Kenny Walker may just realize that he won't be a starter at Cal. It's not like Walker is a 5 star recruit ready to take over the game. I guess Washington promises him a big role? If so, go be a Huskie. All this proclaimed love for the local team is getting old. You either bleed Cal blue or not.

Since he didn't honor his commitment then according to HIS own words, he is not a man of his words. I may have crossed the line a bit but now you have to hold Walker to the same standards. He is old enough to know what "man of my word" means.
