From the first day I've joined this board he's maintained the schtick he has today. At first I thought he was just fooling around given his moniker but I've accepted he will always be this way. <br /><br />It is what it is. People have the right to be the way they want to be. Seriously, losing recruits and coaches are pretty common; what has been bothering me more is that Tedford was able to win with less talents in the earlier years and seems to hit a brick wall after 2007. I always believe that coaching is the most important part of the game. Recruiting a bunch of elite 11 quarterbacks and let them sit on the bench in favor of a less-than-ideal quarterback proves that recruiting may not be as important as most people here think. Personally, I'm happy we did not "get" these two prima donnas...with all "that" entails...<br /><br />The circus atmosphere they created was revealing as to their personas (i.e., head cases, in my book). Also, one of the parents appears like the type to give a coaching staff headaches....<br /><br />Would not have wanted either of them in "my platoon." Period.

We all know that this is not what we wanted, but what the hell can we do at this point? Whine and cry? Give up and root for another team? Hell no. It sucks that we are losing some top recruits but we need to cheer for those warriors who will be here. I don't see what good whining and crying over and over again does. For some, it's almost as if they take some joy in this because it gives them additional reason to post their spiteful insults toward Tedford. He is here now, and it is time for us to circle the wagon for those who will be Bears.
