Last thing we need is more drama from players we already have.

If there is one thing our professors stress to us at Cal it is this: context is everything. Without context, people like Stalin and Hitler can make other people believe anything. <br /><br />These tweets above have no context at all. I could easily spin CJs tweets in either direction.<br /><br />That being said, I don't like the sound of CJs tweets. CJ kicks @$$. He became a fan favorite last year. Twitter can be fascinating - a rabbit hole to zeitgeist? - but these kinds of things don't belong on twitter. It should be repeatedly stressed to players on the team how public all of this stuff is. I've taken to reading a lot of tweets the past few weeks because of the lupoi fiasco, but I don't think my blood pressure can take this (twitter, following recruiting) anymore. I hope whatever prompted these tweets gets resolved and we see more CJA on the field in 2012.

Time to ban twitter use by players? Not only because it can be disruptive to the team, but because "adult" fans can't help themselves and get twisted by their following of everything these 18-22 year olds tweet. Geez, some of you really need to get a life.
