Says he's deciding between Cal and Michigan St? Has anybody seen this kid play? Seems to be going under the radar in terms of 4* recruits

According to Biggins, it's a three-team race between Cal, WSU and OSU. He has some nice things to say about Cal in the most recent interview...friends with other commits and several players, etc. Says he'll announce on NSD.

We have a very good chance. Hopefully will make up a bit for all the decommits recently.

Are those the best schools that offered him a scholly or the schools of his choice? I would think a 4* receiver would have nicer options than that

Tough question, depends if you want a burner or more of a jump-ball/possession/red-zone type. If we lost out on Dozier (and since we don't know if Clay is coming back), I would definitely say Walker cause they have similar games. Now, I think I would still go with him. You can't teach his speed and elusiveness. Also, I know Maurice Harris will do well as a fade guy in the end zone.

Where are people getting Beaver from? I thought he was a silent to UW but some idiot leaked it, and he "re-opened" his recruitment/wanted a couple of hats next to the purple one from which he will pick. He bailed on us 3 times for visits. Am I missing something here?

Probably helps our chance if Walker just officially decommits since he's favoring UW....<br /><br />But I guess Walker's family really wants him to stay home and go to Cal.

I heard multiple sources say that multiple kids committed on their visit to cal on the 27th... im hoping its more like a bunch but we will see.

I'm gonna say Ford and Lawler to go with Coprich. Anyone know if Scout's visit list is right? Adcock, Thomas Johnson? I saw a twitpic of the visitors this week trying on Cal unis but I forgot where it was.

I'm not going to hate on Payton. He's not much of a burner and runs with an exaggerated lean sometimes, but he runs good routes, has good hands, and is a hard worker.

payton is one of those guys who can be a great possesion WR in college but will never cut it in the pros. I would have loved to have him but we have guys that are bigger game changers.

People probably said that about Marvin Jones, even up until the Senior Bowl, and he's about to be drafted. No one knows for sure, and don't underestimate the guys that put in more time than everyone else in their craft, no matter their measurables.

I'm not hating on Payton. Just putting it in perspective that Lawler looks equally if not more impressive.
