Not only does Kendricks beat all other LB's in the 40, Michael Calvin posted a head turning 4.32. I wonder how many Bears will go in the beginning of the draft. I am expecting some familiar faces from Berkeley showing up in NFL jerseys next year.

define "beginning" of the draft. I expect Kendricks or Schwartz to be the first Cal guys taken, and i'd say they have an outside shot of getting drafted late in the second round...

Draft experts think Kendricks could easily push the top of the 2nd round and if a team really falls in love with him I could see a late 1st round pick. Kuchley out of BC is the consensus #1 ILB of the class and will be taken top 15 I think for sure. Dont'a Hightower is the number 2 ILB for most people and then Kendricks there at 3. Burfict's stock has dropped quite a lot and I'd be surprised if a team takes Burfict before Kendricks.

Yes, at ILB, but you omitted considering OLB and that's a whole other group of backers.

Kendricks will go no later than the second round. I see either Detroit or Philly picking him up in the second. I also see possible landing spots of Baltimore, Buffalo, and new york jets.

I didn't include OLB because it's a separate position. Kendricks projects as an ILB and I'm assuming that there are 3 teams who put an ILB as a top position (drafting in rounds 1 or 2) of need.

Only Jones gets drafted, 2nd day. People shouldn't get too enamored with fancy combine/ pro day numbers. Only foolish GMs or so-called draft "experts" in the media get glossy eyed over workout warriors instead of looking at the actual game tape.

Kendricks, on the other hand, can really play and his athleticism will serve him well. I would be absolutely shocked if Calvin gets drafted at all. The guy didn't produce where it matters, on the field.

Yeah, Calvin's surprising 40 time, though, certainly got him camp invites, maybe a free agent contract and, if the ghost of Al Davis is lurking around somewhere, maybe a late, late round gamble.

Really! Not drafted at all? I do see where you are coming from but, Calvin showed up when really needed and made a few decent catches last season. Remember, it is hard to be targeted a lot when your fellow WR is the QB's half brother.:facepalm

He had hands of stone before Keenan ever even came to Cal.

I'd sign calvin as a free agent (maybe even a late round draft pick), use him on special teams, and see if he could pick up the safety position.

unlikely calvin gets drafted. 6-7th round at best. but he will be given a shot as an undrafted free agent.

He caught roughly as many passes from Maynard in Maynard's only year as he caught from all other Cal QBs he played with in the last four years combined: Longshore, Riley, Mansion, Sweeney, Bridgford...

Really, the propensity to blame Maynard on this site gets to be a little much. Maynard did not hold Calvin back the last four years. Calvin had his best year by far with Maynard as the QB and that was with two solid guys ahead of him in the rotation, something that was not true his first two years.
