I actually think Philly would be the best option for Tebow. Andy Reid is great with quarterbacks, he would fit in well with the offense, Michael Vick is always hurt, and the Iggles aren't afraid to let the qb run.

I can't speak to any locker room stuff but if I were Tebow, from a football perspective, my first option would be Philly.

Didn't the Eagles just sign Vick for 7 years or something like that?

Philadelphia is a place where quarterbacks go to die or if they are lucky booed into eternity

I hope Aaron Rodgers doesn't start throwing left handed....oh wait, he would still be better than Tebow.

that'd be awesome if tebow took AR's spot. then AR can come back home and play where he was supposed to be in the first place.

Actually Philly is a place where quarterbacks are developed and then traded away for second round draft picks. A.J. Feely, Donovan McNabb, and Kevin Kolb were all traded for second rounders. Additionally, if I were Tebow, the length of Vicks contract would be irrelevant. Vick is always hurt. Tebow would probably see significant playing time.

The Green Bay Packers, that may sound strange to people, but Mike McCarthy and Tom Clements Clements is their offensive coordinator, McCarthy their head coach take great pride in their ability to develop quarterbacks, tweak their deliveries and do those things," Mortensen said. "They had to do that with Aaron Rodgers coming out of Cal, and look what they did with Matt Flynn. I think they would embrace maybe embrace a Tim Tebow there."

What crap! Rodgers was nearly perfect when he left Cal. Do they remember 24 completions in a row against the "evil Trojans' at the Coliseum? Maybe they developed Flynn, but Tedford and AR's innate ability to squeeze a pass in to a small space had much more to do with his success.

Not sure how much credibility I would give this article (like most human interest articles with an agenda). Tedford has said on numerous occasions that he never touched Aaron's mechanics - he threw like that in high school and at Butte. I've also heard numerous people say that AR's pro day was ridiculous - in a good way.

I would give Tedford credit for spotting AR in an unlikely place (and he claims it only took seeing one throw on tape to proclaim him the best he'd ever seen) but Tedford did nothing to alter AR's mechanics - they were more than good enough to get the job done at Cal. Give Tedford credit for helping AR with his approach to the game and his work ethic and attention to detail.

Those experts thought Charlie whitehurst, Matt lei art, Vince young and jay cutler were better QBs. Shows you what they know. Maybe if favre had given Rodgers some help he would not have been so discouraged after three years at green bay.

Yeah, but that was the general opinion of people around Green Bay, it would seem. That was the feeling on the forums, for sure.

It points out how much choosing a QB is an art, not a science. I contrast the amount of material Tedford has to work with in identifying talent and that of the NFL. The latter has four years of game film, combine info, interviews, coaches opinions and they still blow it. Btw, Tedford has to fight to get that talent to come to Cal and not to USC.

Even if Tebow went to the Packers, there's no way they take the reins from a SuperBowl winner and give it to someone else.

Moot point now, but yeah. It really made no sense given that Aaron Rodgers is pretty mobile, himself. I'm puzzled by the Jets trade. Prior to the trade, I was thinking it only made sense for a team to bring Tebow in as a clear backup (Philly, New England) or as someone set up to take over as the starting qb (Jags). He landed in no man's land. Sanchez can't be too happy about this development. Tebow can't be too happy about it, either. I read he wanted to go back to the south, back to Florida. New York is like the exact opposite.

Jets trade is up in the air. Tebow may end up in St. Louis. Stay tuned.

I wonder how that Tim Tebow/Antonio Cromartie interaction will be? Tebow (the virgin) and Cromartie (9 kids with 8 different women) will make for an interesting locker room dynamic. And here I thought the Jets had enough drama on the roster.

Tim Tebow wasn't born in America. He was born in the Philippines.
