I actually think Philly would be the best option for Tebow. Andy Reid is great with quarterbacks, he would fit in well with the offense, Michael Vick is always hurt, and the Iggles aren't afraid to let the qb run.

I hope Aaron Rodgers doesn't get struck down by lightning.

Didn't the Eagles just sign Vick for 7 years or something like that?
Philadelphia is a place where quarterbacks go to die or if they are lucky booed into eternity

The Green Bay Packers, that may sound strange to people, but Mike McCarthy and Tom Clements Clements is their offensive coordinator, McCarthy their head coach take great pride in their ability to develop quarterbacks, tweak their deliveries and do those things," Mortensen said. "They had to do that with Aaron Rodgers coming out of Cal, and look what they did with Matt Flynn. I think they would embrace maybe embrace a Tim Tebow there."
What crap! Rodgers was nearly perfect when he left Cal. Do they remember 24 completions in a row against the "evil Trojans' at the Coliseum? Maybe they developed Flynn, but Tedford and AR's innate ability to squeeze a pass in to a small space had much more to do with his success.

that'd be awesome if tebow took AR's spot. then AR can come back home and play where he was supposed to be in the first place.

Those experts thought Charlie whitehurst, Matt lei art, Vince young and jay cutler were better QBs. Shows you what they know. Maybe if favre had given Rodgers some help he would not have been so discouraged after three years at green bay.

Yeah, but that was the general opinion of people around Green Bay, it would seem. That was the feeling on the forums, for sure.

watching the jets is going to be miserable....like the Cal-Texas game.
A competition as to who can suck less.

Even if Tebow went to the Packers, there's no way they take the reins from a SuperBowl winner and give it to someone else.
Tedhead03;728754 said:
Moot point now, but yeah. It really made no sense given that Aaron Rodgers is pretty mobile, himself. I'm puzzled by the Jets trade. Prior to the trade, I was thinking it only made sense for a team to bring Tebow in as a clear backup (Philly, New England) or as someone set up to take over as the starting qb (Jags). He landed in no man's land. Sanchez can't be too happy about this development. Tebow can't be too happy about it, either. I read he wanted to go back to the south, back to Florida. New York is like the exact opposite.
