So game ready by 9/01/2012. What do you guess would not be ready and would be completed after or during the season?

I would usualy think interior adornments, but I would seriously doubt there would not be a huge push for all ESP Club amenities to be in service. You know the field, bowl, and all seating would be complete. You'd expect concourses and service areas to be complete.

I can't think of what would be shaved off before kickoff aside from maybe video boards and the ticket service center?

Has Sandy or the AD mentioned what would not be ready for game time?

I'm trying to recall who I heard say this, (I don't think it was Sandy, but someone from the AD) and unfortunately my senile mind doesn't remember the specifics, but whoever it was said essentially what you were saying, that the field, seating, and all would be ready. Areas of the concourse might not be completely done, but certainly usable in terms of access and use. Perhaps some of the finish work. I think most of the unfinished work is things like the Hall of Fame room, etc.

Again, this is all from very shady memory but it's the best I'vve got.

The scoreboards should be up. If you read the construction updates, the press box, stadium re-painting, field, etc all should be finished in about a month or 6 weeks - mid May. The Video / Scoreboard area should be ready to have the screen installed by then as well. They have to complete the concession stands, restrooms, etc. But I expect that with the good weather that we have had, the entire thing will be good to go for opening day.

So the Bowl itself and the field should be ready for summer workouts it seems like, and the building interior will be worked on for over the summer.

I am wondering when the East side renovation is coming...

McKim posed this question to Barbour on Monday's "Coaches' Corner" radio show. She said that the general contractor continues to say that EVERYTHING will be completed by Sept. 1.

Cool. That wouldn't surprise me, based on what is already complete and reading the updates. I just can't see a major component (or any) that couldn't be wrapped up in the next 5 months.

Common practice in high profile schedules to try to underpromise so you can overdeliver. Plus they pocket a $5M bonus for meeting the game-ready criteria.
