Did anyone else notice that on picture #17, where they have the two football player models in the lounge type room, that the one on the right has the old cal helmet and old blue color but both the jersey and pants have the new cal bear claw marks on it. Kind of interesting because I know when we wore those against USC they didn't have that.

I remember a recruit i think last year saying that our new unis had a old/new style to them. Would be cool if they were something like that.

Interesting find! Not sure the tops are really a lighter blue, or if the sunlight is just washing out the photo. It's possible the blue tops and yellow pants are just like last year's, but of course the helmet is yellow, 70's style, and (hopefully) darker blue to match the jerseys? The claw stripes on the pants look darker than 70's era to me as well.

A block stripe(s) on the helmet is way better than the triangle stripe IMO. Just no yellow on yellow on yellow banana peel please.

Its the current uniform with the Joe Roth helmet. I got a tour of the place by a football player in my class, I thought it was a bit strange lol.

Crazy how light can play tricks...

It looks WAY darker on the pants to the left :p

regardless I think it would be a cool idea. I've always liked that blue better and thought the old-school helmet looked cool, and this is coming from a 22 year old.
