Sounds like it. He's enrolling in summer school at Cal (though isn't it kind of late?).
He's tall that is for sure. Hes pass rushing ability looks solid and he can definitely get in the face of an opposing QB. Here is some film.

Nope, I took a summer class last year and it started after the 4th of July.

Summer school starts for most classes June 18? Staff to be commended (were acrobatically fast on Langford coming in for spring ball it seems for example); perhaps we will still hear about more to come. Antoine good addition! Excited about the defense. Couple more CB/safeties maybe too?
I made up for an entire year's worth of english breadth courses in the summer before my senior year. I had been putting them off since my freshman year. =D
think about him as a slightly smaller, more raw version of Scarlett. great student, and very athletic. coming in early will be good for him.

similar qualities that will make him a good rushbacker

I subscribe to the other site, but have half the posters over there on ignore...don't need to be told every other post how pathetic our staff is...I can figure things out for myself...if I wanted to be depressed, I could just read obits all day.

He's got nice speed and size for the OLB position at 6-5/230, though he wants to add a bit more weight.
He'll come in as a soph, with 4 to play 3.
He's a strong student, as well, with a 3.7 gpa in his first year in JC. Sounds like he was only 2 classes short of an AA, though he doesn't need it, being fully qualified out of hs.
NC State offered and Oregon and UW picked up their recruiting a lot lately.
He'll be in summer school next week and will count towards 2012.

What does 4 years to play 3 mean? Little confused on that part.
It means he can take a redshirt year and has 3 years of eligibility.

Actually, I think there are four summer sessions. Some overlap, some don't. I think one of them starts right after the spring semester ends. It's been a while, but it's something like this. My final summer, I was taking this 8 am language class that was 5* a week. The only way to drop it after the first week or so and not get a notation on my transcript was to sign up for something else. I missed three days of a 3 week class, but avoided the W!

Since he almost has his AA and will be going to summer school, with three/four years of football scholarship he better keep those grades up and start investigating Cal grad programs.
