Noticed in the seat view renderings that the overhead image and all views from the bowl show solid green turf but the renderings from the Stadium Club mezzanine and the University Club both show a striped field similar to Autzen?

Anyone know the final design for the field / end zones? Since the bowl view has Pac-12 logos and looks a little sharper I'm guessing the striped field was an earlier version they forgot to update but I kind of like the striped look.

I sure hope it's the solid.

We don't need to follow Oregon with their football field and basketball floor gimmicks. When your team is based in Boise or Eastern Washington you need gimmicks. I am hopeful that the team we put on the field will deliver the show, and we don't need sideshows..........IMO.

The new turf has likely already been made and is sitting in a factory somewhere waiting to be delivered.

I always thought we should bust out a field with alternating blue and gold stripes, and maybe a collage of scenes from Berkeley in the 60s. But only when the Ducks come to town.

I agree. The dark and light green make the field look more like a grass one with opposing grain from mowing. Though maybe the difference in contrast could be slight more subtle. And I believe Nebraska was the first team to do that, not Oregon - NU was the original team to install field turf too.

It reminds me too much of Oregon, but honestly, I have more important things to worry about in my life.

I prefer the stripped look personally as well.

As long as we get rid of the awful shade of green we've been using. It looked like a tennis court on TV
