For a while it looked like there were ramps on both sides of the tunnel but in this picture it looks like the tunnel is wide again.

Can anyone confirm this?

It's hard to tell from that photo. Do you have a tighter shot of the tunnel?

The pictures I have seen from the webcam show ramps on both sides of the Notrth and South tunnels. They were poured concrete and the only access to the tunnels from the stands. I am skeptical that either of them are now gone.

This will alter entrance to the field for the team and the band.

They are there.
ADA Ramps. The new part of the stadium does not allow for a "walkway" at the field level like the old one did. The bottom of the stands are now ADA seating. And, the South "Tunnel" is not a tunnel anymore. It is just the opening, and the back of it has two ADA Bathrooms.

Another thread here recently said that the Band was practicing their pre-game show, including entering through the tunnel. So it can't be too dramatically changed.

Not the best vantage, but in this picture you can just see the top of the wall of the ramp over #75's helmet. It's there. But, as you can see, the team will still be running out of the North Tunnel.

We are assuming that the new north tunnel opening is the same width as the pre-renovation width. I do not know that it is wider, but they may have built it a bit bigger to accommodate the ramps. Something else to consider is that the field level is lower now so there is likely a slight downward slope in the tunnel towards the field (while difficult to say definitively, the picture seems to support this). If that is true, it would explain why the ramps appear a little steep for ADA compliance. Most surprising to me is that no one has commented on the upgraded restrooms visible in the pic!

I wonder if that is Tedford's shadowy profile in the lower right corner of that tunnel picture.
