OT: Texas AD Can't Get LHN at Home

For all of you Cal fans who can't get the Pac-12 Network where you live, perhaps you can take some small solace in the following article regarding the non-availability of the Longhorn Network right in Texas' front yard:

Hopefully, the DTV/P12N deal will go through this next week so the availability gap will be closed for a lot more of our fans.

Sandy can't watch Pac-12 Network, either. She has DirecTV.

Does she live in a area where she can get cable? If so, then she can switch to get the P12N. I don't think these Texas officials have an option to get the LHN.

Oh, didn't know.

Sandy has DirecTV for primarily the same reason I have DirecTV -- for the NFL Sunday Ticket.

Maybe Bill Powers (Cal grad) will get the Pac12 network, I vaguely recall that Austin has Time Warner cable, which is carrying the network nationwide. Oh the irony....
