1) No news. They are talking about it though with their customer service people. Guy on the phone, in heavy accent, explained they had "a meeting yesterday" on it. So it is registering.

2) We are new customers. Have a cancellation penalty which might keep me with DTV (but maybe not). No offer but I didn't push too hard.

Will try to catch the Nevada game as I can. Going to S. Utah. Probably upon return will starting working to cut off service as I need to see tOSU and U$C games and I absolutely need the feeds for Hoop season.

tOSU is on ABC so you will have another week to decide.

Don't let them scare you with the cancellation fee. Just explain that you're willing to take the hit knowing that you can pay less and still get the programming you want from a competitor. In the long run, it'll even out. I said that, and they scrambled.

Called yesterday and the guy said something might be announced in early September but that he's not sure. Got the NFL package and 10 bucks off. Pretty sure by now that I'm going to miss the Nevada game.

I really have no idea what I'm gonna do for the Nevada game. Gonna have to find a stream I guess.

More emails to Ellen is the way to go.
