and it struck me how ironic it is that Tedford and Marvin Lewis have turned out to have the same sort of head coaching careers and we could have easily had Lewis as our coach. Both started off well and gave their fan base encouragement for good things ahead and both have sort of fallen on hard or at least very mediocre times. Both seem to be good guys who care about their players but who have lost their initial mojo.
Nothing earth shattering here, just struck me as interesting.

Was walking out of a store this afternoon and had on a Bengals cap I'm breaking it in for this coming weekend, (Cal v. OSU, Bemgals v. Browns) and a lady ask me if I was a Bengals fan. I said, at least for the this coming weekend as I'm a Cal guy but following up with a trip to the Bengals game. She said look for our son, he plays for the Bengals, he's #88. When I checked 88 on the Bengals roster it said he was inactice. What does that mean?

Ray Whalen from the Furd eh?....if he is inactive, that means he is injured or unable to play but not so injured that he PUP list......Each team has to cut the game day roster from 53 to 45 players so 15 minutes or so before game time, each team has to designate 8 players that are inactive for that game.....
