We're beloved by the media but like a friend who keeps flaking on us, at some point you lose interest. Guys like Phil Steele, Ted Miller, Rece Davis, Petros, Neuheisel, Herbstreit, etc. have all been on the bandwagon of recent (not to mention the Palmer, James and Davis crew had us twice last year). But our play esp. in prime time has had them jump right off, and rightly so.

The problem is we DO win that game on a blue moon(2003 USC{my gawd, it's been a decade?},2006 Tennessee, 2009 Furd Juggernaut) which unjustifiably and cruelly rebirths the "hope spring's eternal" refrain. That being said, it looks like it's every 3 years, so WATCH OUT OSU!

Absolutely SC in 03, UT and UO in 07 to a lesser extent. Furd 09 was really only big for us, they were just a better 5 loss team. Heck, we were ranked that game too.

One day we'll have another 03 win. The kind of win that turns heads across the country. The kind of upset that announces something significant. And it will be glorious. That win.

Nicely stated. Tedford had quite a reputation as a top coach for a number of years. But alas, the media left Tedford after he failed to put up the points.
