What if Coach Tedford coached from the box and Gould/anyone else was on the sidelines.

I dunno... I read on this very board that Gould is the problem.

This brings up a good question: who do we have up in the box? It looked as though both coordinators, JM and CP, were down on the field. That's pretty rare.

JT has said so many times that he's more comfortable up in the box where he has all these spreadsheets and info available to him. He seems to be defunct on the sideline anyway. He stares out of his shades and seems deep in thought and not engaged with other players or coaches the whole game. It would be better for him. But that would be too radical as not many programs do this and he would probably lose face as a guy who can't relate to his players. Not happening.

Must be young QB coach Arroyo?

I've been asking this question since Spring. With all the coverage we have of our football team, how is it that we do not know the roles of the various coaches in play-calling?

Yeah, one of the things that stands out about Tedford is that he almost never engages with other coaches or the players on the sideline. When either the offensive, defensive, or special team units huddles with a coach on the sideline, Tedford is never in the huddle. He seems to just be in his own litte world, insulated from his coaching staff and the players. I have never seen a head coach at either the college or pro level that does that. Tedford also rarely congratulates a player for an outstanding play or visibly expresses his disatisfaction at a bad play/mistake.

that the whole CEO notion was a GIGANTIC mistake (if he went up to the box and became more of an offensive coordinator again. As for interacting... he used to be very involved with assistants and players, very in-your-face as a matter of fact. He's completely the opposite now. Obviously he's really in touch with who he is as a coach.
